MG Motor Australia has announced a substantial price reduction for its HS Super Hybrid range as part of the M-Genius End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) campaign.
Until June 30, 2026, the plug-in hybrid SUV is available with a $5,000 discount, bringing the driveaway price to $42,990 for the Excite variant and $46,990 for the Essence variant.
This represents a saving of approximately 10% off the previous prices.

The MG HS Super Hybrid combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 220kW and 350Nm. It boasts an electric-only driving range of up to 120 kilometers on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) cycle, making it suitable for most daily commutes without engaging the petrol engine.

Key specifications of the MG HS Super Hybrid include:

  • Fuel Type: Plug-in hybrid
  • Engine: 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo
  • Power: 220kW / 350Nm
  • Transmission: 2-speed automatic
  • Drivetrain: Front-wheel drive
  • Electric Range: 120km (WLTP)
  • Fuel Consumption: 0.7L/100km
  • CO2 Emissions: 17g/km
  • ANCAP Safety Rating: 5 stars

These figures position the HS Super Hybrid as one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its segment, with low CO2 emissions reflecting its environmental benefits. The five-star ANCAP safety rating further enhances its appeal to safety-conscious consumers.

For Australian buyers seeking a cost-effective and environmentally friendly vehicle, the MG HS Super Hybrid presents a compelling option. The EOFY discount makes it more accessible, aligning with the growing trend towards hybrid and electric vehicles in the market.

In summary, MG's EOFY offer on the HS Super Hybrid provides significant savings for consumers looking to invest in a plug-in hybrid SUV. With its impressive specifications and reduced price point, it stands out as an attractive choice in the current automotive landscape.
